UFC: Diaz vs Pettis Odds Analysis

Renfrew

It has been nearly three years since we have seen Nate Diaz from the Octagon, but he earns his return against AnthonyShowtime Pettis in the co-main event at UFC 241 in the Honda Center at Anaheim, California on August 18. Pettis left out his UFC debut last time in March, which makes the jump and he became the first man to knock out Stephen Thompson.
Online sportsbook BetOnline has put the odds with the two fighters sitting in -115 as a pick em.
Anthony Pettis has not earned back-to-back victories since he won five in a row and has been on a lose-one series on his last seven fights. Hes become an underdog in each of his last 3 fights and had near pick onem chances in his knockout loss.
Meanwhile, Diaz has not been favored to Josh Thomson in 2013 since his weight reduction. He cashed as a +300 underdog in his very first battle and a +315 underdog vs Michael Johnson with Conor McGregor.
Pettis definitely was the fighter competing seven days because Diaz was in activity, so in the event that you think in ring rust, then there is tremendous significance on Showtime.
These are two very much like fighters, with cardio, excellent grappling abilities and great. While Diaz is long, pettis is creative and has really kicks and that he mocks his competitors when they step backwards as hed rather get in swap hands and a phone booth. Diaz does a terrific job throwing mixtures and flurries of punches that wear on his foes.
The path to victory for Pettis is attacking Diazs leg, while I think the Stockton native needs to back Showtime against the fence and wear on him with punches in bunches and clinch work to deserve the win.
Odds at BetOnline at August 2
