On Saturday October 27, 2012, Port Hope will have the opportunity to Thrill the World. At 7:00 pm in Memorial Park, Port Hope will be participating in a worldwide effort to dance simultaneously to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” This global event is a collective world record attempt for largest simultaneous dance event. The dance will be led by Miss Jennifer Mercer, of Jennifer’s Jazz it Up Studio of Dance. The event is open to all ages. Zombie costumes strongly encouraged!

Port Hope Homecoming Reunion is scheduled for Friday August 3, 4 and 5, 2012. The last official homecoming to happen in Port Hope was back in August 1901. The 2012 event was pulled together by an enthusiastic group of local volunteers to celebrate life in picturesque Port Hope.
