Summer Concert Bandshell Series

Port Hope

Two Decades of Eclectic Performances

For twenty years, the Summer Concert Bandshell Series has been delighting residence and visitors with an eclectic assortment of musical performances in downtown Port Hope.

The Concert Series is run by local volunteers and is sustained through local sponsorship dollars. This series brings a variety of unique talents to the historic bandshell; musicians of all kinds, genres of all types have graced the stage.

Every Thursday in July and August there is a FREE concert in Memorial Park starting at 7:00 p.m. People of all ages gather round and enjoy the evening’s performance in the open air. The series inspires the community to gather and encourages the love of music through exposure to it’s many forms.

Join us on August 2, 2012 for the Don McArthur Big Band; Swing for a Summer Night!
