Recognizing Big Quality in a Small Town

Teri Devine

North Grenville has been in lights the past year!  Most recently, Grahame’s Bakery ,  Class Axe Guitars,  Blue Gypsy Wines,  Rideau Woodland Ramble, Crusty Baker, Healthy Pets Boutique,  and Rowland’s Leather (to name a few) have all been featured on Ottawa television (such as ‘Regional Contact’, ‘CTV Morning Live, and other programs).

Recognition such as this has lead to increased productivity and sales within retail businesses as well as more travellers from the city.  This promotion from larger towns such as Ottawa, Kingston, and Toronto is helping us to gain traction with our goal of becoming a day-trip destination for neighbouring communities.

North Grenville really does have lots to offer visitors of all ages and lifestyles and it is with pride that it is being recognized!

There is nothing quite as good as small town living and we, as rural communities in Eastern Ontario are to be ambassadors to those who come from near or far in search of information and experiences when visiting us.  Congratulations to all those communities who are putting their strengths and positive experiences out to the world and being recognized for their successes!
