Old Trafford
(Att: 73737)

Because they drew 1-1 at Manchester United on Super Sunday at a game littered with VAR play with adam Lallana equaliser saved a point for the Liverpool.
After a frantic opening lacking in clear-cut possibilities, the game burst late in first half with two critical VAR calls. To begin with, Marcus Rashford gave United the lead from close range (36) as Liverpools cries for a foul on Divock Origi in the build-up were denied by VAR.
Subsequently, since Sadio Mane appeared to have equalised (44), VAR properly mastered the strike out for a handball. Both decisions prompted wild parties from the home audience, but Liverpool, who had been looking for a record-equalling 18 directly Premier League wins, levelled late on through sub Lallanas back-post faucet (85).
The result moves United to 13th, seven points away from the top , while Liverpool see their guide at the top cut to six points following Manchester City win at Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Marcos Rojo was pitched into the occasion after a late injury to Axel Tuanzebe, but United began resisting the temptation.
There was a deficiency of chances as United got into good positions but, symptomatic of a team lacking confidence did not understand what to do for this. Liverpools best opportunity came down the perfect flank as Mane squared for Roberto Firmino, whose reduced, slipping effort has been saved well by David de Gea.
On the biggest point on Super Sunday, it arrived after a Saturday cluttered in VAR drama. United took the lead via Rashford, tapping close range after Daniel James centre in the right, but Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp felt Victor Lindelof from the build-up cliped Origi.
There is definitely contact with Origi plus it is a filthy, said Graeme Souness at the Super Sunday studio, but VAR David Coote termed the tackle honest, and Stockley Park dominated to frustrate Liverpool again minutes later in a sequence of events that Klopp later said revealedall the issues of VAR.
Mane slid the ball from eight metres after outmuscling Lindelof in the box, but replays showed since he commanded the ball had hit on his arm. United gamers made a stage while Liverpool trudged off of sprinting indoors Since the half-time whistle went. The first half was summed by it way up.
United began to sit after the break as although the hosts did break through Rashford, who delivered a shot Klopp shortly moved to substitute Origi together using Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Klopp was mad on the touchline although the sight of De Gea rising to accumulate a loose ball turned into a recognizable one. But with five seconds remaining, Liverpool struck to conserve their unbeaten start.
The left-flank cross of andrew Robertson found its way through a crowd of players to find Lallana and he tapped home.
Leading due to the 1,999th Premier League aim, it felt like 1999 within Old Trafford for 85 minutes, and also an Liverpool will feel relieved to escape with a point.
For a large chunk, VAR occurred more than Old Trafford. Sky Sports Jamie Carragher commended VAR for its next intervention however the goal of Rashford prompted debate and abandoned Klopp fuming.
Its VAR at its best. That might be awarded before and now its handball – it shouldnt be a goal. We disagree with certain items, especially on this first goal and could have talking points on VAR, but that was in.
Man Utd boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer:[We got] a terrific response in the boys and we know we have a team which can work for every other with a excellent attitude and air from there.
Maybe this will turn the season since they are disappointed in the dressing room because they feel we should have won and thats a good sign for a supervisor to see. Our fans, they demonstrated again that they can see whats happening and well arrive.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp:Theyre better than us and defended well, however in the end they scored a goal that reveals all of the issues with VAR. Mr Atkinson let the game run because thats the routine of VAR, and VAR reveals it was a filthy and that there was touch. But that could not change. It is not cool, although they had 60 or 70 yards to operate to score the goal.
We scored a goal which has been disallowed. Today pretty much everything went , but we didnt lose. We deserved the stage, 100 per cent.
Jose Mourinho:Klopp hasnt conquered United in Old Trafford, and that I feel he did not enjoy the menu. He likes beef, and he got fish! I think caked and United, following a terrific attempt, will truly feel somewhat disappointed. At the start of the match I had been requesting United to get heart. They had it but they had more than that.
Roy Keane:With Liverpool, in case youre discussing winning names, youre discussing collecting points once you perform badly, and thats exactly what they did.
Graeme Souness:I believe Liverpool got away with it a tiny bit. United worked their socks off at the first half. I think United will have a lot with that game. They turned today.
Manchester United go to Partizan Belgrade in 5.55pm Thursday at the Europa League, before a Visit to Norwich on Sunday at 4.30pm. Liverpool are at Genk on Wednesday at 8pm at the Champions League, and then sponsor Tottenham at 4.30pm on Super Sunday, live on Sky Sports Premier League and Main Event.
