Port Hope

marché 59

A welcome addition to the main street of downtown Port Hope is the newly opened marché 59, named rightly so for its location at 59 Walton Street, in a beautifully renovated heritage property in the heart of the heritage conservasion district.

A specialty food shop and bakery, showcasing certified organic local seasonal fruits and vegetables, home grown from their farm “P H Farms”, in the nearby countryside of the Municipality of Port Hope. Owners Betsy and Omar promise much of the produce is delivered fresh daily on the same day it is harvested from their farm. Customers walking in the shop be will be met with the aromas of delectable fresh baked artisan breads, French savories and pastries. Treat yourself to breakfast or lunch or advance orders are welcome.

marché 59 hosts their grand opening this Friday October 19th in downtown Port Hope’s Heritage District.
