“Evelyn’s Closet”…Take a Peak…

Hastings County

…for previously loved clothes for kids!

Travel to the Heart of downtown Stirling, take your time, look around, and enjoy everything that “Evelyn’s Closet” has to offer.  With the pocket purse tight at times, choose the more affordable way to shop and take a peak at some previously loved, named branded children’s clothing.

In January 2011, Amy Vanderspruit, took over “Evelyn’s Closet”, her goal was to implement her own ideas, and expand the business.  “Evelyn’s Closet”  has relocated, and is now sharing a space with “Hearts to God”, on Mill Street, Stirling.

She has top of the line, name brand, gently used children’s clothes, and shoes.  She not only sells previously loved clothing, but she also buys clothing as well.  Children grow out of clothing so quickly!  Why not make a little money, and spend a little at the same time,… have the neighbours wondering where you make all of your money to shop for your kids.

I know as a current “shopper”, a good rule of thumb when bringing clothing is …if I wouldn’t buy the clothing due to it’s current condition, no one else should be expected to.  Amy accepts all clothings from sizes 0-3 months up to size 12.  She will only accept clothes that are clean, and without stains or holes, and that are name brand…and of course previously loved.  Amy requires clothing to be dropped off by appointment only.  Store hours are Monday to Saturday 9 to 4.

Amy is a new busniess owner in Stirling, and business has been thriving.  “Our family did not want to see Evelyn’s closet leave the Stirling area”, so she purchased the business, “…and we have increased in size since we opened in January”, commented Amy.

The next project on the list is a facebook page for ”Evelyn’s Closet”, which is in the works.

Hurry in and take a look at “Evelyn Closet” before all of the previously loved clothes are gone!!
