Since debuting in Lennox& Addington County on October 4th, Enterprise Facilitation has been very well-received by our business and would-be business community. EF is a great resource for all new and existing businesses and is proving to be a very positive tool for entrepreneurs everywhere in L&A.
Tracey Snow, L&A’s Enterprise Facilitator, has met over 250 new people all over the County from Denbigh to Amherstview, and has already acquired more than 20 clients. Word of mouth is the primary means of letting people know about the program. At one of her monthly Resource Board meetings, a member asked her how many of these clients she called herself to make them a client? Excitedly, Tracey responded “None, they all came to me!”.
To help further bolster the number of clients for Tracey, Lennox & Addington Economic Development is holding a series of information sessions that will speak about the program and explain its benefits to entrepreneurs. If you’re thinking of starting a business or are looking to improve upon your current business operations, you should definitely attend one of L&A County’s upcoming business coaching events.
Events are being held on January 27th at the Loyalist Township Municipal Office in Odessa at 7 pm, at the Stone Mills Township Municipal Office in Centreville on February 2nd, as well as at the Napanee Fire Hall on February 9th, and at the Addington Highlands Township Municipal Office in Flinton on February 16th. All events start at 7 pm and are ideal for all existing businesses and for residents that are looking to start their own business.
