#CRE2011 – Creative Rural Economy: Hash Tag Analytics

Ontario East

The first ever Creative Rural Economy Conference took place last week (June 14, 15) in Kingston and beautiful Prince Edward County.

Conference goers were encouraged to tweet along during the conference in order to spark conversation pertaining to the conference agenda.

@OntarioEast started a Twitter hash tag, #CRE2011, which was quickly picked up by attendees and was very popular through-out the two-day event.

A friend of the conference, @lindseyfair, who moderated through-out the entire conference was kind enough to put together a hash tag analytic page for us, which is available here.

With almost 100 attendees across two days, we accumulated nearly 300 tweets from over 20 individuals. Thank you for following us @OntarioEast and we appreciate the creative, inspiring conversation.

Thanks again to all of the event organizers who made the conference such a success, as well as Queen’s Monieson Centre and the Ontario East Economic Development Commission Board of Governors.

Keep an eye out for a full conference recap including, conference PowerPoint’s, video and pictures.
