Beautiful Adirondack chairs latest addition to Creative Economy

Teri Devine

Creative economies matter to rural regions. Creative workers are an immense asset to their rural communities thanks to their innovation and dedication, while they in turn benefit from the quality of life and relaxed pace.

A small manufacturing company specializing in the iconic Adirondack Chair is the newest addition to North Grenville’s creative economy. DFC Woodworks Inc., makers of beautiful, long-lasting, high quality Adirondack chairs, have experienced world-wide growth over the last couple of years  after weathering the 2008 recession and are expanding into a brand new warehouse in Kemptville. They now have dealers in France and Australia, and requests from countries as far away as Egypt and Sweden.

From 10am-2pm Saturday, July 28th DFC Woodworks Inc. invites everyone to a special ribbon-cutting ceremony for the grand-opening of its new manufacturing facility at 305 Bridge Street South in Kemptville, Ontario. Their showcase room will be filled with their world-class products so that guests can see them firsthand. To add to the excitement, there will also be a special testing of their new Forever Adirondack Chair line which comes with a lifetime guarantee.

If you cannot make it out for the grand opening, visit their friendly team at 305 Bridge Street South in Kemptville. You can also shop online from the comfort of your front porch when you visit their website  www.thebestadirondackchair.com.
